Lontium upgrades its high performance MIPI receivers for AR/VR and AI applications

October 15, 2024, Hefei. Lontium upgraded its high performance MIPI CSI/DSI to DP/Type C and HDMI bridges. Further leading the market of supporting 8K resolution video going into the GPU/CPU for capturing or bringing the 8K video out from the GPU/CPU for displaying with minimum latency. Targeted for AR/VR, AI and automotive applications, the parts are in production.
1. LT9711UX is the latest part of MIPI receiver family with DP/type C output for high resolution/refresh rate camera video capturing or display video streaming supports:
. Two MIPI CSI/DSI combo receiver ports, support both CPHY and DPHY with maximum speed of 3.0GS/s per trio and 4.5Gb/s per lane;
.  Support 8K resolution;
.  Support DSC bypass;
.  MIPI receiver supports both MIPI CSI and DSI, MIPI CPHY and DPHY;
.  Displayport TX supports DP V1.4 with maximum data rate of 8.1Gb/s per lane and DP alt mode;
.  USB type C controller handles DP alt mode and supports PD V3.1;
.  Integrated MCU for chip configuration, PD control;
.  Small package sizes.
2. LT9611GX is the latest part of MIPI receiver family with HDMI output for high resolution/refresh rate camera video capturing or display video streaming supports:
. Two MIPI CSI/DSI combo receiver ports, support both CPHY and DPHY with maximum speed of 3.0GS/s per trio and 4.5Gb/s per lane;
.  Support 8K resolution;
.  Support DSC bypass;
.  MIPI receiver supports both MIPI CSI and DSI, MIPI CPHY and DPHY;
.  HDMI 2.1 TX Supports maximum data rate of 12Gb/s per lane  with deep color;
.  Integrated MCU for chip configuration;
.  Small package sizes.
Applications include AR/VR 3D source generating, transmitting and power delivery, high performance AI video capturing, and automotive infotainment.
